Teaching practice

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine «About higher education», adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on 1 July 2014, and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 23.03.2016, No. 261 «On approval of the Procedure for training persons with the degree of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science in higher education institutions (scientific institutions)», Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 07.08.2002 № 450 «On the approval of time norms for the planning and accounting of educational work and the lists of main types of methodological, scientific and organisational work of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff of higher education institutions»assistant pedagogical practice (hereinafter referred to as practice) is an integral part of the training of doctoral students of philosophy (hereinafter referred to as postgraduate students) for teaching activities.

In accordance with the academic and working curricula for all specialities, postgraduate students undertake practical training in the 3rd semester of their second year of study within the timeframe specified in the working plan.

The direct supervision of each postgraduate student's practice is carried out by their academic supervisor.

The primary base for undertaking teaching practice is the basic department to which the postgraduate student is assigned. In addition, a postgraduate student may undertake practice at departments (units) of «NTUU »Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" and at other higher education institutions and institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine which conduct pedagogical activities and have scientific achievements in the field of the postgraduate student's research interests (provided that appropriate agreements are in place between the institutions).
