From their third year onwards, over 70% students from the Department of Digital Technologies in Energy combine their studies with work in their chosen field. We train not only qualified specialists, but also competitive professionals who are in high demand in the IT, energy and high-tech sectors.

Where do our students work?

Our students undertake internships and work in leading Ukrainian and international companies:

• EPAM, GlobalLogic, Luxoft, Infopulse, Samsung, ELEKS, SoftServe
• Ukrenergo, DTEK, NEC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, Ministry of Energy
• Start-ups and R&D centres focusing on artificial intelligence, «smart» energy, and environmental monitoring

Many by their fourth year already have several years of experience in the IT or energy sectors and are successfully climbing the career ladder.

The department actively collaborates with the KPI Career Development Centre, partner companies, and alumni, who are happy to get involved in mentoring and invite students for internships.

We promote:

• participating in career fairs and hackathons
• Preparing for interviews and writing CVs
• a flexible study schedule to combine with work
• Arrangement of practical training placements with the possibility of subsequent employment
