18 April 2026 saw the KPI Open Day, an event hosted by the H.I. Denysenko Scientific and Technical Library at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI). Department of Digital Technologies in Energy welcomingly met prospective students on the 3rd floor and became one of the 24 university departments represented at the event.
Lecturers I.V. Seheda, O.V. Kardashov, A.H. Donets and A.L. Hurin, as well as 2nd-year student Marharyta Tur, held live meetings with prospective students. They spoke about the education on the department, modern technology stacks that students study, and shared practical advice on admission to the specialty F3 «Computer Science».
The Department of DTE combines fundamental education with current IT trends: from software development and artificial intelligence to geoinformation systems and digital technologies in the energy sector. Our students study in modern laboratories, undertake internships at partner companies, and have the opportunity to study abroad as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
