On May 21st, 2025, the international event Meetup FHIR France took place in Paris, dedicated to modern digital solutions in healthcare. This year's invited experts include — Mykhailova Iryna Yuriyivna, Lecturer in the Department of Digital Technologies in Energy (DTE) at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
About the FHIR standard
The event discussed the challenges and innovations in the implementation of the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard, which is used for the efficient storage and exchange of medical data internationally.
FHIR is a modern standard for health information exchange, developed by HL7 International. It allows different healthcare systems to “talk” to each other, ensuring the secure exchange of data about patients, diagnoses, prescriptions, and test results. This standard is actively being implemented in electronic health records, mobile health apps, and telemedicine platforms worldwide.
This field is actively developing at the intersection of IT, medicine, and data security – precisely in those areas where the ITS department conducts scientific research and specialist training.
SANTEXPO 2025
A special recognition was the invitation for Iryna Yuriyivna to participate in the stand of InterSystems, one of the leaders in the development of platforms for medical information systems, during SANTEXPO 2025.
This annual exhibition is France's largest healthcare event, showcasing cutting-edge technologies, intelligent systems, and the latest approaches to the digitalisation of medicine. SANTEXPO brings together thousands of participants from all over the world: doctors, IT professionals, healthcare facility administrators, researchers, and medical technology development companies.
