6 November 2017 saw the signing Memorandum of Cooperation Between the Department of Automation of Power Engineering Processes and Systems (APEPS) of the Faculty of Thermal Engineering of the National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» and All-Ukrainian Public Organisation «Ukrainian Federation of the Security Industry» (UFO «UFIB»)

The main objective of the Memorandum is to ensure the qualified training of the department's graduates, which is close to the current requirements of the IT and security industry employers, including the information security of critical infrastructure protection. The basis for signing the Memorandum of Cooperation is:

– creation of laboratories according to the scientific and innovative activity directions of the department

– holding a series of meetings between representatives of the All-Ukrainian Public Association «Ukrainian Federation of Industrial Biotechnologists» (UFIB) and first- to third-year students to familiarise them with the areas of activity of UFIB members, with the aim of cooperation within the scientific and innovative direction of the laboratory.

– discussion and definition of forms of interaction between the department and specific partners of the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation «Ukrainian Federation of Insurance Business».

The APES Department was represented by the Head, Deputy Rector for Research of NTUU «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» Koval Oleksandr Vasyliovych; Associate Professor Levchenko Larysa Oleksiivna, Associate Professor Kovalchuk Artem Mykhailovych, and students from the department. From the All-Ukrainian Charitable Foundation «Ukrainian Federation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs» (VHO «UFIB»), the following participated in the event: President of VHO "UFIB" Dolynnyi Anatolii Stepanovych (General Director LLC “KS-MECHATRONICS”and Kamenetsky Mykhailo Valeriyovych (Technical Director LLC “INTTEX”).

The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation took place in the office «High-tech office Ukraine» (Hi Tech Office Ukraine) within the innovation park «UNIT.City» (Dorohozhytska Street, 1) in the presence of Andriyi Biryukov, Executive Director of «Hi Tech Office Ukraine»
