Year of establishment 1976.
Subject of research: Methods and tools of computer information technologies for monitoring the ecological, energy, economic, and social status of regions to improve the standard of living and biological age of the population.

Performance indicators of a scientific school Over the last 5 years:
1 doctoral and 2 PhD theses successfully defended, 2 scientific monographs published, 1 textbook, 3 patents for the design of devices obtained, 19 author's certificates for computer programs, 47 scientific articles published, including 5 in publications indexed by the Scopus and/or Web of Science scientometric databases; 42 in publications belonging to the list of Ukrainian scientific professional publications (categories «A» and «B») and/or in foreign periodic scientific publications of OECD countries.
The development of the scientific school «Automated hardware-software complex for hypoxic training» and its various modifications were presented at international Ukrainian exhibitions in Kyiv (Industrial exhibition «Made in Kyiv» (2017) and International Medical Forum «Innovations in Medicine – Health of the Nation» (2018)) and abroad in the People's Republic of China, Weihai (Ukrainian Experts to Huancui (2017)).
International recognition of NS: к.During 2017-2019, Mr/Ms Prof. Poliahushko L.H. was a member of «The Weihai Think Tank of Foreign Experts», PRC. PhD, Associate Professor Kuzminykh V.O. (since 2019), Polyagushko L.H. and PhD Titenko S.V. (since 2020) are professional members of the largest international organisation in the field of computer science, the «Association for Computing Machinery».
Implementation of results in economics and education рThe results of the scientific school's work have been implemented in the clinical department of physiology and pathology of internal organs and in the laboratory of mathematical modelling of ageing processes at the State Institution «D.F. Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine», at the enterprises NVP «Symbol», and in the Special Design Bureau «Shtorm» of the Research Unit of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The results of the work have been implemented in the educational process for teaching the following disciplines: «Numerical Methods in Computer Science», «Mathematical Methods of Optimisation», «Modelling of Pollutant Migration Processes», «Environmental Monitoring», «Real-time Monitoring Systems for Networked Objects», «Hardware and Software Tools for Environmental Information Collection and Processing», and «Methods and Systems for Modelling Complex Processes and Systems».
