The career guidance activities of the Department of Digital Technologies in Energy are gaining momentum. The next stop in our marathon of meetings with future applicants was School No. 46, where a meeting with 11th-grade students took place.
The team of the department’s lecturers — A.H. Donets, O.M. Bespala, A.A. Demchyshyn, and A.L. Hurin — presented to the students the opportunities for studying Computer Science of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of lively exchange of ideas and constructive dialogue between the lecturers and the school students.
The future graduates learned about the specifics of the admission campaign, the educational process at the department, employment prospects in the IT field , and opportunities for self-development offered by the university. Special attention was paid to the practical component of education, including work on real projects, participation in hackathon and scientific conferences, and cooperation with leading companies in the industry.
The students actively asked questions about the specifics of studying, student life, opportunities to combine work and study, and the competencies that are most valued in today’s IT industry. The lecturers answered each question in detail, sharing their own experience and vision of the development of digital technologies.
It is important that such meetings give school students the opportunity not only to receive information about the university but also to feel the atmosphere of the department, get acquainted with the lecturers, and understand whether their expectations correspond to the reality of studying at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The Department of Digital Technologies in Energy expresses gratitude A.H. Donets, O.M. Bespala, A.A. Demchyshyn, and A.L. Hurin for their professionalism, active participation in career guidance activities, and ability to inspire young people. We also express our gratitude to the administration and teaching staff of School No. 46 for organising the meeting and for their warm welcome.
Future students, the doors of the Department of Digital Technologies in Energy are open to you. Join our team!
